MEP Zovko met in Split with Anđelo Šetka and young sportsmen from Vukovar

Split, 1 September 2017 – Member of the European Parliament Željana Zovko and the mayor of Split Andro Krstulović received today Anđelo Šetka and young sportsmen from Vukovar, who are staying in Split for seven days, from 27 August to 2 September.

Anđelo Šetka, one of the best world’s water polo players and gold medal winner at this year’s World Championship in Budapest organized with the support of the City of Split a seven-day visit of 27 children from Vukovar to Split.

Šetka, who was born in Split, came to this idea when he visited Vukovar in February this year with the national team.

“I would like to congratulate to the gold medal winner Šetka, who is not only a top water polo player, but also a person with a big heart, who kept the promise given after he won the gold medal in Budapest.“- said Zovko, who invited the young sportsmen from Vukovar and Anđelo Šetka to be her guests in the European Parliament in Brussels.
