MEP Zovko participated in the Conference “Beyond this European Union to save Europe”(ital. “Oltre questa Unione Europea per salvare l Europa”), held in Padua, at which the main topic of discussion was the political future of the European Union.
MEP Željana Zovko participated on Saturday, 24 November in the Conference “Beyond this European Union to save Europe” (ital. “Oltre questa Unione Europea per salvare l Europa”), organised by the MEP Elisabetta Gardini in Padua. The participants discussed the issues of migration, external policy and EU policies and regulations through the prism of entrepreneurs and academia.
In the panel “Mediterranean, Europe and Italy” Zovko talked about the political future of Europe in the context of the forthcoming challenges and defense of the common borders.
Other participants were Italian members of the European Parliament, members of the Italian Parliament and many entrepreneurs and University professors from Trieste and Bologna, who actively work with the EU policies. Before the Conference, Zovko visited the University of Padua and met the Head of the University Rosario Rizzuto and the Regional Coordinator of Forza Italia for the Veneto region Cristiano Satorato.
