Croatian Member of the European Parliament, Željana Zovko, has organised today in the European Parliament in Brussels the conference Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Town of Kaštela as a part of the visit of the representatives of the Youth Organisation of HDZ and HDZ BiH from entire Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
President of the Youth Organisation of HDZ Kaštela, Stipe Ljubičić and MEP Željana Zovko opened the Conference by their introductory speeches. The panel was moderated by dr. sc. Radoslav Bužančić Head of the Conservation Department of Split, who presented the historical heritage of the Town of Kaštela with other panellists, Antonija Crnjak, art historian and Julijana Ljubičić, Secretary of the Youth Organisation of HDZ Kaštela. Marija Jurić presented the history of tourism in the Town of Kaštela.
This conference was the last in a series of conferences organised by the MEP Zovko in the European Parliament over the previous two years with the purpose of valorising the historical and cultural heritage of the Republic of Croatia. The topic of the previous conferences was the historical heritage of the towns of Trogir, Split, Karlovac and the historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Today’s show “From the Heart of Europe” was devoted to the MEP Zovko’s visitors and the historical and cultural heritage of the Town of Kaštela.
