Member of the European Parliament Željana Zovko has had a meeting today in Brussels with the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović.
Zovko and Čović discussed yesterday’s meeting with the President of the European People’s Party Joseph Daul and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and the Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini and today’s meeting with the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker.
Furthermore, Zovko and Čović discussed future steps in the Bosnia and Herzegovina’s accession process, the required changes to the Election Law, which are to dismantle the possibility of one nation electing the representatives of the other nation and about the presentation to the European Commission of the replies to the Questionnaire.
They closed the meeting with the discussion about the announced EU enlargement strategy onto the Western Balkans, which will be presented next week at the plenary session in Strasbourg and which is expected to give a clear EU membership perspective to the Western Balkans countries.
