Zovko and Krstulović Opara met in the European Parilament

Brussels, 24 September 2018 -“ MEP Željana Zovko met today in the European Parliament the Mayor of Split Andro Krstulović Opara. They discussed the initiatives undertaken so far by the EP in cooperation with the City of Split. Zovko mentioned the Conference “Union Civil Protection Mechanism – Protection at the Service of the Citizens”, recently held in Split. Furthermore,  they discussed the steps to be undertaken jointly by the MEP Zovko’s office and the City of Split with the purpose of improving the civil protection system.

MEP Zovko’s local office in Split has during the two years of her term organised numerous visits of the representatives of the Split-Dalmatia County to the EP, as well as of the students of the Fourth Grammar School “Marko Marulić” and of the representatives of the Police Administration of the Split-Dalmatia County, during which visits the visitors had an opporunity to learn about the MEP Zovko’s work in the European Parliament.
